Singapore Flying College is a wholly owned subsidiary of Singapore Airlines with the aim of providing the highest standards of training to produce world-class pilots.
Our Story
Singapore Flying College is a Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS) and Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) approved flight school headquartered at the SIA Training Centre in Singapore, established in 1988 under the Singapore Airlines Group. Our focus is to ensure pilot training includes the core values required for airline pilots.
In 1990, while the completion of ATPL ground studies remained in Singapore, flight training shifted from Seletar Airport to Jandakot, Western Australia.
In 1992, the accommodation facility at Jandakot opened.

Singapore
Our programmes at the SIA Training Centre provide cadets with foundational and advanced aviation training, including CAAS Airline Transport Pilot Licence (ATPL) Theory Programme, Simulator Training and Unmanned Aircraft Pilot Licence (UAPL) Training. Each course is designed to equip future pilots with essential knowledge and skills, laying the groundwork for a successful career in aviation.
Jandakot
Our Jandakot campus in Western Australia offers specialised flight training programmes, including the CAAS Multi-Crew Pilot Licence (MPL), CAAS Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL) with Multi-Engine Instrument Rating (MEIR) and CASA MEIR training. Here, cadets gain extensive in-flight experience and hands-on skills in a diverse training environment, ensuring they are prepared to excel in both local and international aviation standards.
Tamworth
Supplementing the Jandakot campus in its CAAS Multi-Crew Pilot Licence (MPL) training. The campus in Tamworth, New South Wales, Australia, provides access to extensive airspace and modern training facilities, allowing our cadets to develop essential flying skills in a dynamic environment.
