SAFETY & QUALITY EXECUTIVE

Position 1

( Based in Singapore )

Singapore Flying College (SFC) is a leading aviation training institution committed to delivering excellence in flight training services. With over 30 years of experience training pilots for the SIA Group, our strong focus on safety, quality, and continuous improvement aims to produce highly skilled and responsible aviation professionals.


We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Safety & Quality Executive to join our team. Reporting to the Safety & Quality Manager (SQM), the Safety & Quality Executive (SQE) will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining the College’s safety and quality management systems to ensure the highest standards of safety and operational excellence.


Responsibilities:

  1. Develop, implement, and maintain the SFC Safety Management System (SMS) and Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with aviation regulations and industry best practices.

  2. Maintain and update safety and quality documentation, including manuals, reports, and records, ensuring accessibility and accuracy.

  3. Conduct regular risk assessments, safety audits, and quality assurance reviews to identify potential hazards, non-conformities, and areas for improvement.

  4. Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including flight instructors, maintenance personnel, and management, to promote a culture of safety and quality throughout the organization.

  5. Investigate and analyze incidents, accidents, and non-conformities, identifying root causes and recommending corrective actions to prevent recurrence.

  6. Assist the SQM in the coordination and conduct of internal and external audits to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards, including regulatory requirements.

  7. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of safety and quality programs through Safety Performance Indicators (SPIs) and other relevant metrics.

  8. Develop and deliver safety and quality training sessions where required to keep staff apprised of latest developments in the safety and quality space.

  9. Stay informed about advancements in aviation safety and quality management, incorporating relevant innovations into the organization's programs.

  10. Foster a proactive safety and quality culture by promoting reporting and addressing concerns in line with the principles of just culture.

  11. Any other duties as assigned by the SQM or the General Manager.

 

Qualifications:

  1. Minimum of a Diploma in Aviation Safety, Aeronautical Science, Quality Management, or a related field.

  2. Proven experience in aviation safety and quality management, preferably in a flight training environment.

  3. Familiarity with aviation regulations, including (but not limited to) CAAS, CASA and EASA.

  4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  6. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

  7. Certification in Aviation Safety (e.g. IATA, ICAO SMS) and/or Quality Management (e.g. ISO 9001) is favourable.

Associate, Human Resource and Administration

Position 2

( Based in Singapore )

Singapore Flying College is looking for talented, passionate and motivated individuals to fill in a vacancy for the post of the Human Resource and Administration Associate position to assist the Human Resource and Administration Department.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the Recruitment process

  • Be able to update and generate HR reports

  • Assist with the implementation of the HR system

  • Coordinate travel requisitions

  • Verification of payment, invoices and staff entitlements

  • Provide both HR and administrative support to the Department

 

Job Requirements:

  • Diploma/Fresh graduates

  • Must be able to work in a team

  • Positive attitude and good Interpersonal skills

  • Meticulous, able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment

  • Proficiency in MS Office applications

Qualifications:

  • Proficient in using MS Office Suite

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal

  • Demonstrable experience of working in a support team 

  • Ability to concentrate and work in a fast-paced environment 

  • Flexible and adaptable and able to accept changes and adjust accordingly
